Default I think I broke a sensor. HELP!

Hey guys new to this forum here and Im having a problem with what I believe to be an oil pressure sensor on my 2000 V6.

I was changing my oil today and by mistake I knocked into some sort of plug with my oil filter wrench. It sheared it off at the end of the black plastic part.

It was directly above the oil filter, probably like 2-3 inches up.

Since the plug was damaged, my car has the check gauges light on and it reads no oil pressure.

Is the car driveable? What part was that?

Any information would really help me out, if you need to ask questions go for it. I'll be quick to respond. If needed pictures can be provided.

Most likely the oil pressure sensor.
