Default continuous clicking noise?

i was on my way home from dropping my girlfriend off tonight and while i was on the interstate i starting hearing a loud clicking noise. i was doing around 50 and just to see if i was hearing it right i accelerated and it kept getting louder. so i slowed down and when i got off the interstate i was at a stop light and the clicking stopped. does anyone have an idea of whats going on?

thanks guys

Whereabouts is this clicking? What kind? How long has it been since you changed your brake pads/calipers? Are the brakes rubbing against the wheel at all?

the clicking sounds like its coming from the engine region, but im not entirely sure, the clicking just started tonight. my rear pads and rotors have been changed and so have my front rotors, just not the pads. which are getting bad. my buddy said something about the u joint bolts might not be tighted all the way.
