Default 2000TA: Car won't idle at all just starts and dies, HELP PLEASE...

It's never had a problem with the tune. Recently the (-) terminal bolt was stripped and replaced. Now that it's replaced it has no problem starting but idling it just will not do. I can't for the life of me figure out why it wouldn't even try to idle on it's own. I just keep the throttle lightly pressed to keep it alive to move it if it needs moved. Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Troy

When I had this issue it was that the MAF was 100% taken out of the system by the PCM. I had PCM trouble though that caused this.....

See if you have a good MAF.........you WILL NOT always get a code or an SES light when a MAF stops working. Check to see if the MAF wores are getting signal from the PCM too. The MAF is needed for cold start and WOT.....thats it. I also had to peddle it to keep it alive on cold start-up until it warmed up and the MAF shut off and the 02 sensors took over running things.

I was going to ask about fuel pressure, but if you can feather the throttle to keep it running the fuel system must be doing its job...

Uhhhhh.... it fixed itself?! I guess I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Have no idea what it was... maybe the VATS. The security light is on. That makes sense. Thanks guys for all of your help. Much appreciated.
