Default Rear end grinding

Any time I let off of the accelerator (except during reverse) there is a loud grinding noise coming from the rear end. Any help?

EDIT: I'm driving a 2000 WS6 T/A - manual

Pull the rear cover off and look for metal debris. Inspect the ring gear teeth. If nothing is found you may have a bearing failing but the only way to inspect the bearings is to disassemble the rear end completely.
