Default Car wont stop leaking oil!

Hey everyone I am about ready to sell my car. About a month to a month and a half ago i noticed my car was leaking oil between the tranny and bellhousing. I figured it was the rear main seal So i dropped the tranny and replaced that. It still leaked a little. well i took it all apart again and torqued the rear cover to the right figures and got it all back together and it still leaks! Now the weird thing is, it is leaking dark black oil, well the oil in the car is brand new and very light and clear. Could the color of it be changing when going through the belhousing and getting dirty that bad that quick? Also is there a way to test to make sure i am getting proper crankcase ventilation. Last year when i got my car tuned i broke my pcv and the tuner just blocked off the port on the intake and left it ventilating off the valve covers. Well i tried to fixed this with some 3/8 hose and a new pcv valve, and it seems like maybe after doing this is starting leaking worse. Please guys help me, i have had this car for quite a long time and dont want to sell it, but i will not remove the transmission again if thats what is needed .

The slave appeared to be clean. The slave it also rather new. The clutch fluid is also quite clean and it is leaking dark fluid. It also leaks at the oil pan a lil which is much cleaner clearer looking fluid, but at the belhousing/tranny it is dark black.

hey i took a pic of a puddle it left earlier, as you can see it is very dark. I really think it is oil, but its hard to believe that this is the clean brand new clear oil thats in the engine even if it runs through the dirty belhousing.

Well, I would monitor all my fluid levels and see which one appears to be dropping. You have a "class 3" leak according to our Army terminology..

Good call. OPSU is directly above the rear of the engine, behind the intake manifold.

Thats a ton of oil to be leaking from a bad seal, definitely check the oil pressure sender.

Ok thanks everyone for the help so far. The opsu is pretty new also but that doesn't mean it can't leak! When I was replacing the seal I noticed there was some oil around the opsu. My question is would the opsu leak worse while driving then when sitting still? I will check it

Now that I am thinking about it, it really may be the sending unit. There is always a coat of oil on the belhousing even towards the top and areas higher than the oil pan. I sure hope that's what it is! Is there anyway to check mine before buying a new one ?

Reach back there with your hand and caress the oil sending unit up and down and all around. If you got oil on your hands, BINGO.

Sorry one more thing.
Could a opsu leak all the way done at the drain hole between the tranny and belhousing? Thank you

Cam position sensor. Goes through the block at the back of the motor and is a very common oil leak often confused with the rear main seal leak.

Yes I have the special socket, I am actually quite good at removing it without taking the intake off! Lol. And about the cam positioning sensor, is that something where the tranny must be removed??

I went outside and felt around the opsu, it definately has some oil on it, it is slippery. Would this leak only when driving and for a short time after shutting it off or would it be a constant leak? Also where does a opsu leak at? the top?

No,the intake has to be removed. You dont have to replace the sensor just the seal.

Dry. The only oil should inside the hole in the block where the OPSU screws in.
