Default updating the seats

Three questions:

#1: I am looking into updating the seats on my '01 Z28. They are the original ones and I want to remove the cloth and install the vinyl ("leather") covers. I know there is a lot of retailers that offer the correct fitting ones but I don't want to shell-out $800 to $1000 on covers that will not fit RIGHT. Any advise on getting the right ones? I don't mind spending the money if they will be just want I want and look like the ones GM offered on the cars originally.

#2: Is it a pain in the *** to install? I know they come with the "hog" rings but not the clamp which I have to buy. Is it better for me to buy the material and pay a pro to do it?

#3: Where can I get new foam cushions. The driver's side buttom cushion is worn out and I can feel the metal frame on the sides. Not cool!!!

I apreciate any input on this matter and cannot get enough of this site!

on the other side of my town there are a lot of hispanic shops that are known to do work cheaper than most, most towns have this area could get new foam and leather all new for a great price. Or would find a low mile camaro,ta,or bird and get seats from that.oem is always the best fit

Classic Industries may sell covers and cushions to OEM specs. (I know for sure they do not have leather - only vinyl.)
