Default Picture Request for A/C only blowing through Defroster/Floor problem

I did some research and concluded that the reason im only getting AC through the defroster and floor is from the vaccum line that runs off the 3 pin connector to the back of the intake.

Can somebody send a picture of where exactly I have to position my hand to feel it. I got out there yesterday and was reaching back there but I only felt one little rubbery guy with a wire coming off it, That cant be it can it?

Please excuse my noobiness

That's your HVAC Check Valve. It's this piece right here. I just ordered one cause i broke mine.. it's right next to your computer in the top left corner. This one this guy has are the updated ones. if you click on the listing you will see a picture of the old one that you probably have in your car.

will completely removing it and capping off the back of the intake have any effect on idle? I removed all that stuff completely because the line was broken and now I have a high idle

I just got done having the same problems. Only had AC going to the floor. Sure enough the top barb on that HVAC fitting was broken. It was easy enough to find, right in front of the computer on the left side of the engine bay. There are three lines connected to it. I went to Autozone and found the exact replacement part in the "Help" section:

Manufacturer: Dorman
Part # 47150
Description: GM- Two way check valve
Cost: $3.99
