Default Really frustrated with my truck: please read!!!

I have a 2003 chevy silverado v6 truck and it has went thru 3 caps and rotors within 2000 miles. The first time it broke down u replaced it because it was very worn. Pretty sure it was the original with 138,000 miles on it. That lasted about 2 months and the truck broke down again. I sent it to a mechanic and to my surprise it was the cap and rotor. That was about 800 miles ago and it is starting to act just like it did before it broke down the last 2 times. What could be causing this? It does seem like water has something to do with it, but wouldn't a new cap seal it up? Also the truck has never thrown a check engine light!! Any ideas???
