Rear main seal question
I'm replacing my clutch and since I have a slight leak from the RMS I picked one up at work today to install. From what I've read I'm not suppose to remove the white inner piece, but I don't understand how it's suppose to go on. Is the seal I got different than others?
I'm guessing maybe when it goes on the crank journal pushes the white piece out. Is this right?

I pulled that white piece out and put the old seal on top of it and tapped on the old seal. Worked fine. Instructions didn't say to leave the white piece in........ah hell I didn't read the instructions
