Im in austin texas and next month Im driving across country to laughlin nevada. It will be 120 degrees when I get there and for the most the drive will be in 100 degree weather thru NM and AZ. My question: I have the SLP cold air intake with a FTRA scoop underneath. It does block my radiator a bit and the temps go up when idling or long drives in the heat. I was thinking about pulling it out for the trip to get max airflow to the radiator. All fluid s were changed about 2 months ago, I added water wetter and run a 160 sat with fan programming. BTW I am also towing a small seadoo. so what do you think? Also I have a trans cooler in front of the radiator also.
