Default 1998 SS wierd PS leak into coolant?

Hello folks, just got my 4th gen last week. checked everything before I bought it. Today I went out to start it and the battery was dead. This was my own doing after noticing i left my speaker project plugged in so while it was charging up, i checked everything and wtf, there is oil in my coolant?! after picking some out with my fingers, I revieled it was power steering by the pinkish white color and smell. its a six speed car, so no trans fluid to radiator. does the PS run through the radiator? anyone ever seen this before?

The power steering fluid doesn't run through the radiator. Instead, it runs through a cooler in the upper radiator hose (which should have been extremely obvious). It's probably leaking, which is very common. The cooler was an option.

^^^Couldn't have said it better myself.

Power steering cooler was an option only for SS's, right?

Get it done, as in NOW! Seriously, that **** almost killed my PS pump and more than likely contributed to the demise of my waterpump. Read..... you'll see.

The cooler was originally a WS6 and SS but went on all the cars starting in 1999. (If I recall correctly.)
