Rubbing/moaning noise
I have a 98 z28 m6 I recently had a small wreck I clipped a tree just the root of it and it caused the car to slide all over the road and come up on 2 wheels well It broke 2 wheels and bent the suspension on the passenger side I replaced the suspension and wheels now It makes a loud rubbing/moaning noise when I turn left or anytime I get on the gas a little it doesnt make the noise when it idling or driving normally any help would be appreciated

Haha. No it did the same thing right after I wrecked it but now that I fixed the suspension it much worse/louder no sfc's I go to school for collision repair and I printed off the measurements for it and nothing was moved I thought the strut tower was pushed over but it wasn't the only damage was on the upper rail where the fender bolts to

Rear end howl? Difficult to diagnose on shitty laptop speakers, but I remember my TA would sound like that when cruising. Yours is while it's under load though....
Maybe something got flubbed up in the rear end? It would maybe explain the left turn and acceleration....? That's all that comes to mind for me.

Exhaust rattle/rubbing frame rail, firewall etc? It seems to be in relation to engine revs - the sound starts at the same pitch when you hit the next/each gear. Is somthing rubbing on anything on the accessory drive belt or componants? Check pass side engine mount - did it get "shoved" with the impact? Tailshaft of tranny? Just some thoughts. I hope it is something minor.

Alright, regardless of where you know or think it is coming from, I would immediately check the following. Front wheel bearings/hubs, rear wheel bearings and your rear end itself. However, that, to me, sounds like it's coming from the tranny for some reason.
I'm not terribly familiar with manuals, which it seems you have based on the shifting, but. If possible, test the car like you did in the video. As SOON as you hear that horrid noise, as long as it's safe to do, throw it in neutral. Foot off the gas of course. Does the sound change or go away?

I can make it do it all day long but it does it when I put a load on it as soon as I let off the gas it goes away I think I'm going to put it on jackstands start it up put it in gear and see if it does. I appreciate all the help. Keep them coming
Okay so I put it on jack stands and it does not make the noise while it's on the jack stands in gear and giving it gas

While its on jack stands, get a jack and lift up the axle right before it starts to lift it off the jack stands. Get someone to get behind the wheel and give it some gas while you go around listening for noises.

ok so my car is makin that noise too. mine is a 6 speed as well. only makes the sound when it is moving. really loud when i turn. kinda tghought it was power steering pump going out. it does it in every gear and gets louder the higher the rpm's?
