Default a.c question

my a.c is now stuck on the heat vent, and florida is already up to 99 degrees, any idea of what part im looking for? i plan on going to LKQ junkyard next week for this part, ABS and a steering wheel

Most likely there is a break in the vacuum line that controls the blend door diaphragm.

thanks, i found something online about it, couldnt find it at first, gave up and ended up posting on here then found it

so i followed the vacuum lines they are all good, but i have a question, the vacuum line to the intake, does it go under the intake or into the back

alright thanks, later on today im going to the car show and meet up with someone that has an 01 trans am im just gonna follow the lines and see for myself

No vacuum lines under the intake - be sure to look at the check valve near the PCM and the line to the vacuum storage tank under the passenger side front frame rail.

well it turns out the vacuum line behind the intake came undone and slipped under the intake all fixed and finally enjoyin my a.c since Florida right now is just crazy with the heat
