Default Possible Short in Electrical System! HELP???

I just bought my first z28(1998).
The guy I bought it from said it needed a new turn signal fuse because it keeps blowing out. I put a new fuse in today and it threw sparks. Then it melted the metal on the replacement I was installing. Is this a common problem with a easy fix or should I be worried?

He did install a cool safety relay to start the car but it's not attached to the blinkers at all... So that can't be the problem right?

Yeah, that plus one other switch... Could that be the problem?..

I kept blowing my courtesy fuse bc my dome bulb was loose would disconnect and connect while the car was running. Might be an extreme long shot but check the bulb.

More than likely the bulb socket is all rusted and corroded-pull bulb then try to put fuse in and see if it blows.
