Default rubbing noise from turning

after installing new rotors on the front of my 01 z28 ive noticed a rubbing not grinding noise when turning. only when turning at a slow speed around a corner. the noise sounds like whoop whoop whoop whoop not sure whats up my dad told me to check and make sure the rims are on tight, no problem there and i know theres like a 3 to 5 hundred mile break in period ive put on about 300 something and the noise is still there not getting better or worse. im about ready to just take it to a shop and have them take a look and probly empty out my wallet in the process. also my wife told me that she heard the breaks squek when she stops might be unrelated since ive had the pads on for about a year or so. thanks in advance guys and gals for any help.
