Help me figure this out...
I just about a 93 camaro earlier today for a little of nothing because it was not running. I bring it home and decide to tinker with it to see if i can get it running. car would turn over but would not crank. I check the fuse box under the hood to find a 10 amp ignition fuse blown. The car blows every ten amp fuse i put in it. I put a 15 amp in it and nothing still. i put a 20 amp and a 30 amp fuse in its place and the car cranks and runs like a champ. The only problem is that the pcm wires are getting really hot on 20 and 30 amp fuses. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?

I'd look in the owners manual and find out what the corrrect size fuse is first, what else might be on that circuit, etc. Since it's a '93 you can also check for any codes by jumpering the DLC pins. Just a couple ideas.

Word of advice. Until you know the exact size fuse to put in there, upping the fuse size will do little more than get you a fried set of wires, and possibly a fried PCM. If it's a 10 amp fuse from the factory, it's 10 amps for a reason. You've got a wiring problem that's causing the fuses to blow. Fix the problem first.
