Default Broke a rocker arm

[IMG][/IMG]I get off work one evening and decide to drive my camaro to the gym since i haven't moved it in a while. I start him up and run in the house to get my gloves and shoes, a whole 5minutes. I come back outside, open the door, get one leg in the car, and WHAMM WHAMM WHAMM. Then the car dies. I scratch my head and start the car again and WHAMM WHAMM so I turned the car off myself. I throw the keys in the seat, slam the door, and go back in the house disguested. My first thought was that a rod came lose but it had good oil pressure. Then maybe the flywheel, but it sounded as if it was coming from the intake or something was hitting the valve cover. So I hauled it back to Strong Performance and had the cylinders pressure tested too. Pulled the valve covers off and found my new Scropion rocker arm broke into pieces with only 253 miles on a new motor. Good thing it was just idling.

That sucks. I have had 2 sets of the scorpion rockers brake on me. So far I have had this set in the car over year and no problems I just make sure I let the car warm up before I beat on it. The customer service is pretty good and they do have a
lifetime warranty so pull those bad boys off and send them in and they will send you out a new set.

I had all of them pulled and shipped back with no problem from Ross-the-Boss at Scropion Racing. Just waiting on the new ones to get here.

Ask the ones who sell them and they will swear there is no problem with Scorpion rockers. I say they are crap.

Anybody else have the same problem with Scropion RockerArms? If so, what did you switch to?

Yeah, LOTS of people have issues with them. Search around you will see.
