Default small crack on starter flange

For the short bolt. It's cracked half way. Can I just use a metal epoxy?
02 Z28, thrown rod. No ride for 14 months.
Salvaged 01 ls1 going in. Lid, powerstick muffler, bbk 85mm throttle body, ported ls6 intake inlet, competition stage 1 clutch, bilstein shocks, lakewood lca's, pro5.0 shifter, rear hose mod

If that's your last resort you could. I've seen it done before however idk how long it'll last.

TIG welding is the correct repair.
