Default Shaved Inner Rear Fender Lip???

I am want to be able to shave that inner lip of metal underneath the rear fender where my wide *** tires rub. I am going to use a dremel to do the project. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what size cut off wheel and grinder to use to smooth it down after the cut. My plans are to put mask tape over the whole lip, sketch out a straight line and cut as close to the fender while leaving a little behind to grind away perfectly and then mask off the clean area and paint with a bed armor type material. Sound about right or not. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you mean the inner lip on the fender?

If yes, why not roll it? It is a lot better and you will not cut any welds. I rented the Eastwood roller.

This thread might help you. Good luck!

Thanks I was debating on whether to cut or roll, the only thing bout rolling or the BFH mod i'm worried about is chipping the paint. You think the BFH would be that bad on paint chipping?

Roll it! If you cut the fender lip then you chance doing a lot more damage to your tire if that sharp edge comes in contact with it
