Rack and Pinion Replacements
I am in the middle of doing a K member swap and noticed my r&p is leaking pretty bad from the boot on the drivers side. From what I read, it is more worth your time to just replace the whole thing rather than rebuild it. Prices are pretty high around here at local parts retailers so I went on good old ebay. I found this piece that comes with a lifetime warranty and they even pay for return shipping for your core. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this dealer or their parts. Thanks!

Wow. That price is outstanding. Their feedback seems to be pretty good. 99.2% positive.
However, that wouldn't show if any issues exist with quality over time.
R&R'ing isn't too bad, but if I had to do it more than once I'd be pissed.
If you can get 2-3 years out of it as a DD, I'd say you got your money's worth though.
Seeing as my car is my DD, I couldn't put up with all that down time if any issue exists. But than again, I'm the type of person that enjoys learning new things and would rebuild mine. But... The new unit looks so clean!
I know my post wasn't very helpful, but overall I prefer OEM parts. I'm sure there's are OEM units, but I'd find out what brand rebuild kit they use. (I'm very pro-union and wouldn't accept foreign **lack of** quality.)
Hell, im hesitant to even purchase my 6.0 block.... stamped Mexico. And people wonder why the unemployment rate is so high.
Just my $0.02.

Found a better one. US company, 100% feedback, and lifetime warranty. $165, then you get $30 back if you send them back a core. I just ordered a replacement from these guys so Ill post up on how it is when it gets here.
