pics of my window problem
as you can see my driver's side window does not go all the way up... I have looked through some threads already but my motor works fine doesn't heat up and doesn't slow down. I have tried to pull the window up alittle just to see if it moved but nothing happens.
Please help me if you have gone through this before this is causing a minor problem when i take my car through the automated car wash lol

take the door panel off......there is a plastic stop at the bottom on the window closer to the mirror......make sure that stop is not crooked and it engages fully...you can tell which 1 it is.....its kinda wedge shaped......if it goes crooked the window will look exactly like that.....when i had a new window put in the widow guy was clueless as to why it did not go all the way up.....i had to fix it myself

I haven't seen any templates, but made some when I last had my regulators out. Attached to this post.
If you don't have Visio, you can get a viewer free from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en....aspx?id=21701 This format is good because the dimensions will be precise.
One note of warning: It's conceivable that these dimensions may not be exact over the years of our cars, so you may want to check them against the current rivet locations before fabricating off of them.
On the drawing:
- The big circle is the center of motor.
- The triangle marks where the motor rivets should be behind the door. (I used these points for drilling my shbox holes.)
- The four circles are the regulator rivet locations.

Mine did the exact same thing. Just need to get in there and do some rigging. Here's how i did it.

mine does this, I grab the top of the window with my door open and pull up on it hard while holding the power window button up, it eventually comes up.
my solution has just been to not roll down the window.
my driver's door is cracked through at the spring in the hinge anyway.. seems these old fiberglass doors aren't so hot.

not surprised. Both windows are barely working at all..
and the a/c doesn't work!
good times.. good times.
doesn't matter.. I need a new DOOR. So.. the motor is of no consequence.
