Low idle/power
The car: 1998 T/A WS6 A4, ~60k miles
Usually my idle will sit around 1200-1500ish rpm, and most of my driving will be up around 2500. About a week ago, the idle dropped down to about 600rpm. In 1st/2nd gear, she drives normally other than the tachometer being about 500rpm lower than normal(if i step on the gas a little she'll go up just like normal). In 3rd/4th, however, its almost impossible to get over 1800 unless im really mashing the gas and i'm not getting nearly the power i used to(i assume because i'm not getting even near the peak rpm for power). Any ideas on what would cause this?

Your idle in "park" usually sits around 1,200-1,500....thats nuts.
Failing 02 sensors are the most common cause of loss of power during normal driving. You will NOT get a code or an SES light until they are really bad.....most PCM's.
Get a scan if you can to see how the 02 sensors are switching while the engine is running.......using a real scanner, not a code reader.
