drivers side headlight only works when its on highbeam.?

drivers side headlight only works when its on highbeam.? the question purty much says it all, my LH side headlight only works when ii have my highbeam on....i replaced, the headlight thinkin it was burned out, but that didnt work, looked through a few of the fuses to see if any were burnt out or broken...no such luck, whats wring with my baby.? easy fix.? if its wiring can i find it at a salvage yard.?
