Default a/c shut off

I charged my A/C a few weeks back after the previous owner had a line replaced. It blew ice cold for about 2 weeks then it just quit and started blowing hot.

I don't hear the compressor click on or off and I see no idle raise or drop. I ran a code reader on it and got no codes or any previously deleted a/c codes. The fuse in the engine bay is good and the HVAC fuse in the dash is good. I put a gauge on the low pressure side not running and got about 40 psi.

Is there a way to check the relay in the engine compartment?

Any other ideas. Its hot as hell and I would like a/c again lol

Ya its pretty crappy. I really need a/c. I'm in the military and have to sit in my uniform all day in 100 degree weather and would rather not have to do that.
