Then when i accelerate it will go back up and teeter around 13.....the alt is practicaly brand new bought it back in april probably. but the battery i replaced when i first got the car back in Feb of 2010. Keep in mind the HEAT here is around 100 easy. Any Ideas what is going on?

If the voltage goes down with RPMs, either your belt is slipping or your alternator is bad.

What happens when your A/C is off. The A/C will suck a volt or two out of the system, as well. With the A/C off, you shouldn't see any drop at all.

You may not have a problem at all, but if you are really on the yellow, checking the belt and alternator is free. (It just takes some elbow grease.)
