Default Lighting issue in a 99 camaro

Alright guys maybe you can help me out. I turned on the car about a month ago and none of my headlights were working! GREAT!!!! so today after over a month i finally took everything apart! thru away all the HID bull **** and bought new stock bulbs. After everything my headlights still dont work! my fog lights worked for 10 minutes turned the car off and then back on and bye bye fogs!

i checked the fuses none seem to be burnt. replaced the two lh/rh headlights fuses with new 25 amp fuses! also the fog light switch now does not even turn on!!

What do you guys recommend?

Alright guys i need your help again.....

So now that my headlights are working and replaced the headlight switch, the fog lights dont come on! Not even the light on the switch that tells you that they are on, but if i activate the alarm with the button pushed in as if it was on they turn on....... Already checked fuses, relays and replaced it with a used switch! could it be possible that i have yet again bought a non functioning fog switch?

Sounds reasonable...

Its easy to test - just check the wires at the switch.

Just in case - I have to ask. Are your high beams on when you are checking the fog lights?

Yea, you'll have to start tracing wires then. If you get power at the switch but not the lights, it could be the high beam relay. If you don't get power at the switch, it could be something more sinister. (or a fuse)

So if the high beam relay isn't working it would cause this

What are you seeing at the switches? Do you have power to the back of the headlight switch? (They go bad from time to time.) Also, I believe all the headlights then go through the high beam switch, so you could have an issue there if the main switch checks out.

Maybe you have some cut wires somewhere. This could all be related.

I'd suggest investing in tracing the wires with an electrical tester instead of switching stuff out and experimenting. That will get really expensive...
