Default HELP camaro oil leak ss

I got my camaro ss last january and it seemed in excellent condition. It had no leaks and made no weird noises. Since then I have put 6k miles with a few of WOT runs but not too much stress ( casual hwy and street drives). Recently I noticed an oil leak after I use the car ( a dot or two on the floor). It seems to land directly where the engine and transmission meet (seal maybe?). There is also some oil on the passenger side of head coming down from the intake. Any suggestions to what it might be?

Is your pcv hoses still intact? Does your dipstick pop up a couple inches out of the tube?

I've seen oil leak from the front of the intake when the PCV system is capped off without crankcase pressure relief.

IIRC there was a GM TSB about block porosity of the sealing surface where the rear cover assy mounts on the gen III/IV aluminium engines, the fix was to apply RTV sealer to the block mating surface before installing the gasket..

Yeah I think I will pressure wash it and see where the oil comes out of. I have a feeling it might be a valve cover gasket but who knows. Thanks for the feedback!

I have had to replace a few oil galley expansion plugs on my buddies cars. Not saying this is your problem just a little feedback.

Simple thing to try that totally fixed the leak mine had from the same place: check the torque on the pan bolts around the oil filter area, the ones that go into the rear cover not the ones that go directly into the block. One mine they needed around a full turn or more to get to the right torque of 106 inch/lbs.

Another thing you may try is that leak detector dye. I purchased some, but have not used it. I have a leak too and don't know where its coming from exactly.
