Default Fuel Air Problems????

My 02 Z28 has a T-Rex Cam, 243 heads, LS6 Intake, SLP MAF, Mid-length Headers, and an air lid. It will idle perfect (but you can smell it running rich), and I can move it around the driveway and rev it with no problems. But when I take it down the road it cuts out, misses, dies (like its flooded), and back fires(Im assuming the backfire is coming from the excess fuel loading up in the cylinder). Does anyone have any idea what could cause this, I pulled the O2 sensors because they were the factory ones with 96,000 miles on them and they were solid black( So new ones are on the way). Can anyone think of anything else i can check while waiting on the new O2 sensors. My car is dyno tuned and ran fine, I spoke with my tuner and he also thought that the O2 sensors might be the cause. Any help would be appreicated, thanks in advance.
