Default Really need help please!!!!

Today i was driving to a friends house and ias i pulled up my engine started smoking so we jacked it up and the whole underside of the car was covered in motor oil.

We did find that the oil went from the top of the bellhousing dripped down the sides to the bottom and all the way to the tail shaft of the trans.

We think its coming from the back of the block but if anybody has any imput i would REALLY REALLY appricate it bc this is my daily and with out it im going be in trouble .

Yep sounds like the sending unit. Its on the drivers side behind the intake. You should be able to feel it sticking up. You'll have to slide the intake forward and you'll need a oil pressure sending unit socket to tighten it.

I actually found the problem ... it was a hose behind the intake that carried oil pressure from the crank and the hose melted

Do you mean the pcv hose? Did the car run like hell while it was leaking?
