Default Location of oil pressure sensor 99 F-body

My guage is stuck on 40 lbs when the motor is off. ...and the guage reads about 70 when the engine is running.

Is this a bad oil pressure sensor?

Is the oil pressure sensor located on the driver side head?l

Yep, its on the back behind the intake stickin straight up. if it stays on 40 with the engine off and no power your gauge might be jacked

So the oil pressor sensor is NOT on the driver side head near the front of the engine?

If no, do I need to remove the intake?

That sensor on the head is your water temp sensor. And yes its easier to have the intake removed .
