Default Will a PCV hose leak cause P0332 (knock sensor)?

I got a 01 Trans-am and the stock pcv hose assembly did what everyone's did and fell apart. around the same time it threw the code P0332 (knock sensor low voltage). i fixed the front part of the hose the code came back, so when i went to install new knock sensors and harness i noticed the same hose in the back just behind the intake was completely separated. Could this cause a P0332 to be thrown? I know the leak will slightly lower the oil pressure.

I can't see any relationship between the pcv hose and the knock sensors. I would just assume that the knock sensor code means the knock sensor is in trouble.

well my thinking was that big of a leak letting too much air in the intake more air in would possibly cause knock maybe.

I see what you're saying. Why not replace the pcv hose and see what happens? It's about 68 bucks plus shipping at gmpartsdirect.com.

If you were getting knock I don't think you would get a low voltage KS code, you'd just have timing pulled. The KS code is thrown when the KS is malfunctioning, not when it's working correctly. Also, when a KS is malfunctioning you'll have a constant 4* of timing retard.
