IAC issue

IAC issue I have a high idle issue and think it's the IAC. I seen a couple post that said to pull the IAC and turn the key to the on position and see if the plunger extends. When I did it the plunger barley moved then a second later shot the plunger out and landed about a inch above the windshield. I imagine it's supposed to move a little smother then that, anyone seen a good one move?
