Default Gauges and Dash gone wild!!!!!

Didn't know where to post this so I'm gonna shoot here. Driving own the road to put my car in storage for the winter and all my gauges start jumoing back and forth and all the dash lights kept going on and off like I was turning the key on and off before starting it up. Alernator or bad battery?!?!?! Any help qould be great. Again if posted in the wrong section I'm sorry!

Gauge problems often relate to battery issues from all the posts I've read

Step one: Go to autozone
Step two: Test charging system/battery

Step three: replace what needed.

Yes, I'd start with the alternator. Definitely not a battery issue.

But... given that its in storage, you can wait until the Spring to deal with it!
