Default Alternator help

Got a new alternator, worked fine for a few miles, and then it stopped putting out power. Help please

Check the exciter wire on top of the alternator, make sure it's making good contact.

If it's not a wiring issue, then it might just be a poor quality rebuild that had an assembly flaw. See if you can get it exchanged.

Double check the belt is on right. On these cars it's easy to get the belt on wrong and it will spin the alternator the wrong way. Car will run off just the battery for awhile.
