I was trying to figure out why my car is running a little rich. I hooked it up to the scan tool at the shop and was looking at the misfire data. It would have a couple of random misfires come up now and then wich seemed normal, but cyl number 8 was N/A on the sceen.

I have changed the plugs and wire for all of the cylenders, but does that account for the scan tool being n/a for cly. 8?

That's odd. Try restarting the scan tool?
That's definately a scan tool issue not vehicle.
