I have a 2001 trans am and was feeling around the back of my intake and it feels like there is a very very small leak. I felt around the oil pressure sending unit and it felt dry. Is it common for the valley covers leak on these cars?

Vally cover shouldn't, no pressure there. Maybe snug all the bolts down, maybe its leaking a little bit over time.

Where do you see the oil....on the ground? Could be the rear main seal......very easy to replace, hard part is dropping the damn tranny.

I was thinkng rear main but I looked in the bell housing through the Inspection plate and didn't see anything. It looks like it runs down somewhere above the starter. Checked both valve covers and they are dry and pcv hoses are all connected.
