Default Is a way to bypass the DRL module?

On my 01 T/A the drl module seems to have failed. Is there a way to bypass it without cutting any wires, to test it to make sure it is the module, before I spend the money on a new one? I just don't want to buy a new one and it not be the problem.

My symptoms are no drl's, no turn signals in front, no 4 ways in the front, and if I try to put on just the fog lights the headlights open, but headlights just don't light up untill I flip the headlight switch to the headlight on position.

A lot of people are driving around just fine with their DRL box unplugged. It was one of the first things I did on my old car. Not sure how it would affect the other items?

If the headlights pop up but don't turn on when you just have the fog lights on you may have a stripped gear. It could be two different issues at the same time.
