Need help with weird issue Need help with a weird issue that poped up this week with my car. Started about 5 days ago when I backed up my car out of the garage once I stop and I left the car sit for around 30mins or so I went to start it back up and it would crank but not start.I check the battery, change the fuel filter. I can hear the pump come on. Notice only happens when car is cold. Also after troubleshooting a little bit this is what I found. If I pull the fuse for the PCM IGN and put it back in, the car will start. Now again this only happens when car is cold. This happen off and on. Works great one day no issues then the next it could happen. Any ideas? Could my PCM be going out?

Let me know what you find out. My car is doing the same thing. I thought it might of been the MAF sensor since my snap on scanner said that is an issue. I would un-plug the sensor and the car would fire right up. Now if I go out and un-plug the sensor first it still wont fire until it cranks for a couple seconds.

if you hook a jump buddy up to it will it start?
if so check the BCM fuse... we had a Pontiac Grand am do this... it ended up being a a/c compressor shorting out and blowing the a/c / bcm fuse and it wouldnt start unless you added ether and the jump buddy..
