Default Car won't idle.

I changed the alternator yesterday I broke the wire on top I soldered it back together everything was fine. Idk if that's related.

I went to start my car this morning it won't idle. And I'm
Not throwing any codes. Fuel pump primes too. I also cleaned the MAF it was dirty. I did slightly brush against the wires but not on purpose.

Squealing pulley. I have the lifetime warranty so I said what the hell. The car ran great before the alt swap I did notice it wasn't charging after then I found the brole wire. Could I have drained th battery too much driving without the alt charging it?

A friend suggested I change my engine temp sensor ciz he had the same problem and it was that sensor. Also when the rpms drop the temp gauge goes dead then comes back to where it should be.
Could this be my problem?
