A/C CRUISE FUSE underhood is cut. Where does it go?

A/C CRUISE FUSE underhood is cut. Where does it go? Well, I am helping my brother clean up his under hood wiring and the pink wire coming out of the cruise/A/C fuse was "hot wired" to the fuel purge solenoid near the intake. I know that is not correct and we will not be hooking up any things from the emissions, so that solenoid doesn't bother me.
What does is the fact that the pink wire just stops about 2" after the fuse block. I don't see any other broken wires under the box, so I am stumped on where the wiring goes next.
I am not that great with schematics, so an explanation with a diagram would be great. If it matters the car is a traction control car and we would love the A/C to work(of course) as well as the cruise(which is there with no broken wires and the cable is OK too)
Also, there is a vacuum line in the body harness near the fuse block that goes nowhere. I can't remember where it goes.
