A friend of mines son has a 06 2500 with over 200k miles. Since hes had it on cold start it was always a few seconds slow about showing oil pressure. Once it held it would keep 30-40. Well now its not showing much oil pressure at all until it gets a little heat in it and he said a light comes on. With the high miles I'm thinking either the oil pump, o ring, or what seems more like it a half clogged oil pump screen. Does that sound like your typical bad oil pump situation?
