Default Broken sun visor in 99 Z29

The other day I flipped my sun visor down on the driver side and it fell off
Has anyone else had this happen and is there a way to fix it. The metal piece that rotates around came apart from the part screwed into the ceiling of the car.

I don't know how this happened I hardly ever use the thing.

Thanks.

haha, man this same exact thing happened to me the other day. the passenger side tho. i think it was probably the 1st or 2nd time it was ever used. but anyway, i took some fusor and piled it onto the piece that broke. i also put some inside the hole it came out of, then just put it back in place, let it dry real good, and screw it back into the ceiling. hope this helps, good luck

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I looked in the For Sale forum the next day and there was a guy selling tan visors for $15.

Not sure how much the dealer would charge, but keep your eye on the For Sale forum and eBay and you can pick up some for cheap.
