Default another coolant question

So the low coolant light comes about 5 minutes after the car has been running. I'll check the level on the dipstick in the reservoir before I start it and it is completely covered and dripping so I can't get a read on if the damn thing is low or not. Any ideas as to why the dipstick would be soaked all the way to the top?

^maybe...

First you need to open the radiator cap (preferably with the engine cold) and see if there is coolant at the top. If so, its a bad coolant level sensor. (The sensor is installed to the radiator - not the overflow bottle.) If not, its something else...

Just make sure you keep an eye on ur temp gauge. Even tho its a dummy, it'll go up when its overheating, so if you see that just pull over and let her cool

When you check the radiator, should you be able to see the fluid?

Ok just making sure. When you fill the radiator should you have the front end up, like on ramps, to prevent air bubbles? Something my buddy told me just want to know if that's necessary.

Hell no. Just fill it. An air pocket forms on the engine side of the tstat for another reason.
