i need to get to the fuel tank how can i drain it i need to take out the fuel tank so i can change the evap sensor on the fuel pump how do i go about draining the fuel tank is there some way of turning the fuel pump on to pump out the fuel if it makes any difference the car is a 2001 v6

You can purchase a hand held pump from oreilly(or any other parts store). Put one end of the hose in tank and other into fuel jug . The fuel jug must b lower than the tank in order to work properly
