Default are GMB water pumps for the LS1 any good??

I basically have no choice but to replace my leaking Evans pump with a GMB pump from Summit (budget, have their Speed Card charge, cannot afford a new Evans pump, and cannot afford the down time for Evans to rebuild this one and get it back to me-this is my ONLY car, and daily driver as the username states ).

Supposedly they are; cast, and built right in Ohio, with (hopefully) U.S. made bearings and seals, but does anyone know for sure??

I will probably get my Evans rebuilt by them in the future, as a spare, since these cars seem to eat pumps every 50-75K miles or so (at least mine does, regardless of the quality).

I received the GMB from Summit, and wouldn't you know it has "Made In China" all over the box, and on the plastic it was sealed in.

Are ANY pumps still made here besides the Evans (Edelbrock Victors, ANYTHING)????!!!!

I know, that's why I was asking if anyone knew of ANY (stock style mechanical, NOT electric) still made here.

I called Edelbrock, and found out that their pumps are COMPLETELY made right in Cali, castings, bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, and ALL.

Also, those PRW pumps on ebay (and I forgot the retailer, Mad Dog Racing or something?), are fully made in Ozzieland (MUCH better/more trustworthy than China).
