Default running lights, front turn signal wiring??

99 firebird. When I turn on the running lights switch the amber lights in my front valence go on. These are the same lights that blink when I use the turn signal.

The white lights in the front valence only come on when I put on the parking light switch.

Is this how it should be? or has someone messed with my wiring?

I would think the running lights would be the white lights?

Thanks!

Default

The amber lights have two filaments in them:
- #1 Parking Lights (This filament will illuminate when your parking lights or headlights are on.)
- #2 DRL and Turn Signals (This filament is lights when your parking lights/headlights are off and when your turn signals are on.)

The white lights on the lower part of the bumper are fog lights. They will illuminate when your parking lights or headlights are on AND your fog light switch is on.
