Hello,

I have a 98' Camaro SS with 150K miles and the "Check Gauges" light sometimes flickers on the dash. All gauges are reading correctly. Last time I checked with a voltmeter the car was charging correctly. I also just replaced the serpintine belt tensioner and the concern still intermittantly still happens...

Anybody have the fix for this????

Have you paid close attention to the gauges specifically when the light flickers? I know you mentioned that charging seemed to be fine, but have you watched the voltmeter at the moment that the light is flickering?

Also, is there any particular behavior that seems to make the light flicker, such as lugging engine/heavy accessory load/WOT/etc.?

Well it never does it at idle sitting in park. It seems pretty random. Will flicker like crazy sometimes, and sometimes not as bad. It does NOT seem to happen at highway speeds like 80 mph....?
