Creak from passenger rear - I've searched
Hi,
My passenger side rear end (seems to be coming
from right behind the tire area) is making a squeak
sound like one from a 1920's mattress. It will do this
on hard slow left turns , and also if I manually compress
the rear end by bouncing it up and down.
I have UMI SFC's and rear LCA's otherwise the rear end
is stock. I've lubed up the bushings, checked the exhaust
hangers, end links etc. It sounds like an old spring "creak,
creak" with the occasional "clunk" on a hard , slow left turn
such as in a parkade.
I can't see anything that is obviously loose or rubbing. Any
thoughts, ideas?

Chances are it's the lca bushings rotating in the housing or in the bracket. I know you said you lubed the lcas, but actually unbolt them and put some lithium grease on the faces of the material and re-install and I bet the sound goes away. I have the same sound on my car if I haven't driven it in a while.

I have a similar sound but after getting under the car and pushing up I found that it is the sway bar bushings, I've tried spraying food grade silicone on them and using a needle injector on a grease gun but nothing has really worked well, just gotta replace them with greaseable ones I guess.
