Angelovs

Hello, today I went to start my 98 z and it barley turned over like the battery was almost dead which was really weird then once it started it would rev up on its own to 3000 rpms and kept fluctuating so I turned it off and it started fine no problem turning over and didn't rev on its own. So I come back a few hours later same thing then I turn off and start again and it's fine? All help is greatly appreciated!

Vacuum leak. My egr delete freeze plug popped out and I had those exact symptoms. My problem was easy to see though lol.
