Default am i forgetting anything?

So I'm gonna be installing longtubes and true duals soon but gonna get up on some general maintenance while I'm at it, already planning on plugs and wires, trans fluid and filter change, rear diff fluid change, motor and trans mounts, coolant flush, and that's about all ive thought of so far, anything I'm leaving out that would be smart to do while I've got the car on the lift and the exhaust out of the way. Also need to know what the best rear diff fluid, and type of trans fluid I should use, motor and trans mount recommendations and best clamps to use on the true duals as well. Thanks guys

only advice would be remove exhaust, than change plugs. some say it aint so bad, but i say its no fun at all, with exhaust removed doing frombottom wud be awsome.

I'm happy with my Prothane mounts.

I've always used GM Synchromesh for the tranmission.

I simply use Valvoline gear fluid.

Don't forget to put a new fuel filter in. Also a new PCV filter would be a good idea if you've not yet switched to a '04 LS6 style system.

The best clamps are the TorcTite clamps from Walker. They're like $10-$15 each, though.

You may also want to throw in a new thermostat while you're messing with the coolant.

Perhaps clean the MAF, too.

The fuel filter is only about 8 months old right now do you still think I should go ahead and change it? Also another thing I forgot to ask about is the header gaskets any particular brands I should avoid on those?

You're probably fine with the fuel filter unless you put like ton of miles on the car.

As for header gaskets, just stick with the GM gaskets. They can be found for $10-$20.
